Dart Services Team Member

Sterling Heights, MI

Performs building and grounds maintenance and related tasks for all Dart Properties' locations and also performs other duties as assigned

  • Performs interior and exterior building maintenance
  • Assists with maintaining the grounds, including cutting down trees
  • Assists with maintaining irrigation systems
  • Assists with opening and closing of the pools  
  • Performs safety inspections
  • Performs other duties as assigned 

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing ability
  • Must be self-motivated and able to perform job with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand spoken English

  • Ability to stand and walk on an almost constant basis, including climbing stairs
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 60 pounds
  • Ability to bend, squat, stoop, twist, and reach
  • Ability to work on scaffolds, platforms, ladders, and roofs
  • Ability to participate in indoor and outdoor activities in all weather conditions
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform the essential duties and responsibilities
  • This position is exposed to various chemical, including pool chemicals
  • Ability to safely operate power tools and equipment
  • Must have and maintain a valid Michigan driver's license with an acceptable record
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to all locations in the portfolio as necessary
